4.1 PLX3000A Panoramic Digital system is a kind of oral X-ray digital tomography System, it dedicated to the oral and maxillofacial area imaging, and it takes use of the "Tapered beam" Scanning three-dimensional imaging technique4.2 PLX3000A is used for getting the high contrast geometric information in the maxillofacial area during diagnostic process, and it can be used for:* Mandible / frontal imaging;* Nose surface/ fistula and maxillofacial imaging.After Three-dimensional reconstruction, it can produce slice group and build theThree-dimensional reconstruction model. After this progress, axial slice group constitutedvolume data. With these data, the machine can real-time display the coronal and sagittal view of the reconstruction model. After defining the area of interest, users can create research data with the volume data.
